Man oh man; does life ever get any simpler? I guess not.
Life goes by way to quickly for anything to be simple. I cannot believe Juliet
is almost old enough to marry. I must say, I do like Paris a lot, but still I
don’t want Juliet married just yet, she will be forced to grow up way to fast.
I think maybe in two years, maybe, Juliet will be ready for marriage. I
personally like Paris, I hope he gets my little Juliet to fall for him, but
than again I cannot make the choice for her. It is her choice, as a good
respectful and loving father, I cannot get in-between her love life, however I
will never let her marry a Montague! No matter what, I would never let her fall
for one of them. Then again, why would I worry, she is smart enough to know that
those Montague’s are no good!
But saying o'er what I have said before.
My child is yet a stranger in the world.
She hath not seen the change of fourteen years.
Let two more summers wither in their pride
Ere we may think her ripe to be a bride. Act1 sc2).
Hopefully, I can stop worrying, for tonight at least. We
have our party that I must get ready for. I got Peter to tell all the ladies to
go, and hopefully they will, and maybe Paris will forget about my little girl.
Jon Diamond (Act1 sc2). Capulet
